Let me be clear from the start. I, Preston, am a stand for Love. Emily, my wife, is a stand for Healing and Passion, forms of Love. We don't claim that what we share with you is the truth. Esta co-inmersion nos devela la belleza en todos los seres. Esta co-inmersion nos devela la belleza en...nosotros mismos. A medida que tu crezcas a amar y respetar estos desconocidos, Ellos también van a crecer a amarte y respetarte Durante esta noche tan especial. Tu apareces como un DIOS o DIOSA- si TU- Y nuestros gigantes corazones resplandeciendo Desmienten la pequenez de nuestros dias ordinarios. === === Te pido estar consciente de que hoy no es la respuesta, Hoy es un primer paso ( o unos cientos para algunos). Synphoria es parecido a un gimnasio en ciertos aspectos. Nosotros, ejercitamos nuestros musculos de celebracion y gozo. Ejercitamos nuestros musculos de aceptacion y permision. Ejercitamos nuestros musculos de Amor incondicional, Nuestros musculos de gratitud y reconocimiento, Nuestro musculo de entendimiento, y nuestro musculo de respeto. Especialmente ejercitamos el musculo de "atraer e impulsar lo mas elevado en los demas" Fundamentalmente ejercitamos nuestro musculo de "La vida es un Misterio y un Milagro en cada momento." Mientras mas fuertes sean estos musculos, Mas nos gusta usarlos. Entonces comenzamos a usarlos Alla afuera en el mundo, incluso Por nuestra propia cuenta, lejos de esta extraordinaria comunidad de apoyo. Por ESO esta es una cima. Mutuamente nos fortalecemos lo MEJOR de cada uno, lo mas ELEVADO. Una vez que vemos quienes somos CAPACES de ser -En la presencia extendida de los otros, incluyendo los desconocidos- Entonces comenzamos a abrir nuestros corazones y extender nuestro Amor En la base del dia a dia. NO IMPORTA donde estemos en el mundo, No importa con quien estemos, No importa las circunstancias y las razones, El Amor esta mas asequible. Las circunstancias y las "razones de... por que no...." ya no nos detienen. === Lo que tu obtienes AQUÍ, esta noche Lo puedes usar ALLI, manana De hecho si no usas lo que obtienes aqui ALLA, Entonces te estas perdiendo una oportunidad real. Esta puede que sea una cima De individuos con el corazon abierto superlativamente, Pero el PROPOSITO TOTAL no alcanzaria a ser extraordinario. NO extraordinario, sino a su debido tiempo, ORDINARIO. El PROPOSITO TOTAL seria logrando que Lo que compartimos aqui esta noche Fuese meramente ordinario en el mejor de los sentidos.- Significando: que NOSOTROS y millones de otros alrededor del globo Haciendo este mismo tipo de trabajos transformacionales- Estamos actualmente creando las arquitecturas Para el nuevo mundo de Amor y Luz. Las arquitecturas que moveran nuestro planeta hacia delante. Nosotros estamos creando las arquitecturas para el nuevo mundo.... Las bibliotecas de Luz, Los institutos de Inspiracion, Los hogares de Sanacion, Los campamentos de Compasion, Los salones de Caridad, Los coliseos de la Creatividad. Estamos creando las arquitecturas para el nuevo mundo... Las mansiones de Clemencia, Los complejos de Felicidad, Los templos de tranquilidad, Los palacios de las posibilidades, Los penthouse del paraiso, Los santuarios de la sensualidad. Nosotros estamos creando...el nuevo mundo. Aqui y ahora, incluso y especialmente esta noche. Déjenme decirlo de nuevo De manera que puedan ver en que gran juego estamos: NOSOTROS y millones de otros alrededor del globo Haciendo este mismo tipo de trabajo transformacional- Estamos creando las arquitecturas de AMOR, Las estructuras de Espiritualidad, Los palacios de Posibilidades... En las que, otros que nos siguen, van a vivir. Ya sea que nos sigan por semanas, o décadas, O quizas por meros momentos, Creamos el sendero frente a nosotros Para que los que siguen puedan caminarlo mas facilmente. Nosotros, en la innovativa y revolucionaria creacion de la conciencia, Estamos creando la arquitectura de un posible futuro, AHORA. WHAT'S A SYNVOCATION? An invocation invokes Spirit. A Synvocation is meant to do the same, but the word better matches our teaching. Either or both of us (Preston & Emily) give talks with a Spiritual lesson - called Synvocations - at some of our events (ie: Synthesis, Synphoria, The Synphorium). These talks are Possibility seeds planted in the heart-mind, to nurture, grow, and help reveal one's already Authentic Self. Emily's Synvocations are generally improvised on a theme, but every week Preston writes one and reads it aloud @ Synthesis Tuesdays. The following is a recent Synvocation. The Hero’s Journey, CHOICE 7: To Return Home based on Emily's interpretations of the teachings of Rev Ed Townley Synvocation by Emily Klik for May 26 2009 THE SEVEN CHOICES OF THE HERO’S JOURNEY will show you where you are, and give you an idea of where you are headed in your journeys. Explore, Commit, Escape, Recommit, Fight, Surrender, Return. For you truly are a Hero, and this world needs you. Back in early April, we initiated our adventure with the energy of “The White Rabbit” in the first Sacred Choice of the Hero’s Journey: To Explore The White Rabbit… as in an invitation, to explore and adventure in the unknown, Luke Skywalker discovering the message in his new droids, or Harry Potter visited by Hagrid, Neo visited by Trinity. Where your choice to initiate this adventure started within the boundaries of your comfort zone. Within the boundaries of the familiar. You discovered new things within your comfort zone that you have never seen before, because you changed the context, to a new context of exploring. Soon, you came to the threshold of your comfort zone, or known world, and chose to cross the border into the unknown by making the 2nd sacred choice of the Hero’s Journey: To Commit to your journey. The exploring took on a new flavor because the atmosphere shifted quickly to the unfamiliar. Very quickly, you discovered magical properties of the outer world, that were not present in your comfort zone… and you discovered dangers as well as the magic. You uncovered limits in your personal nature, places where you realizeed that you’ve been holding your SELF back. The metaphorical monster under the bed of your consciousness. This led to the third choice…. whether or not TO ESCAPE. Here, you paused in your journey… perhaps trying to run from your limits, shrink from them… or simply pausing to contemplate whether or not you serve your personal growth by moving forward. You could be faced with the question “are you really sure about this?” Whatever caused you to ESCAPE from, and deny the forward momentum of your journey… you chose to move forward. You made the 4th Sacred Choice: TO RECOMMIT to your journey, and the question before you was... “will you recommit to your journey?” The essence of RE-COMMIT is when you KNOW what is out there, positive and well, not so positive… and you know what is in HERE *(your heart), both positive and not-so-positive. And you chose to keep moving forward anyway. Through your fear, through your anxiety, through your worst perceptions and imaginings, saying “Let’s see where this goes”, to see it through to the end. Knowing that you would have to face your limit, or nemesis sometime down the path. And knowing that you will be different on the other side after your confrontation. No question. You took the time to prepare, meeting teachers and colleagues, learning the gift of discernment and boundary setting. Learning about magic, about tools, how to defend your Self. Soon, ready or not, You were confronted by your limit. You’ve reached the 5th Sacred Choice. TO FIGHT The question before you was: “Ready or not, will you engage your limits?” And so you took on your Goliath, you waged your war. You became the manifest embodiment of your new commitment, you BECAME a stand. Was it a fair fight? Or were you boxing multiple foes blindfolded? At some point, you make a new choice you cross another threshold, quietly, purposefully, intentionally. You surrendered to your limit, and released the bonds it had over you. Setting down your heavy baggage, feeling the lightness, feeling the palpable freedom. Freedom to breathe, freedom to move, freedom to take your next step. This is the 6th Sacred Choice of the Hero’s Journey: To Surrender. The question before you “What will you surrender to evolve through this challenge?” In this surrender, die to old patterns and belief systems that no longer serve the perfection of your becoming. Now you have an understanding, a mastery of your magic you have learned what you are capable of, and what you’re made of. You out-lived your limit. And since your limit no longer holds sway over your SELF, you are free of its bonds, you have the opportunity to complete this journey, and return to the beginning. We come to the 7th choice, and that is: To Return. The question before you is “will you return to your place of origin and complete this journey?” It is finally, when you’ve surrendered to these limits, when the battle has ended, when it is over, that the light of dawn illuminates your way home. You are now the Peaceful Warrior, the Wise Sage having laid down your weapons, having no need for defenses. You’re able to see what casualties have occurred during the raging and waging of your epic battle. You’re seeing what you’ve lost, and what you’ve gained. Maybe you’ll have some scars, and some unbelievable stories to share as a result of it. Scars that will be proof of your rite of passage, proof that you faced the demon, and won. In your return home, you return to the start of your journey, to the beginning. Maybe it’s an actual physical return to your home, to your family of origin, maybe it’s re-centering of your Self in your heart, maybe it’s simply an acknowledgement of the battle’s end, maybe it’s returning to sleep at the end of the day. Nelson Mandela said: “There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourSELF have altered.” You may return to the beginning and experience a hero’s welcome home. A great and happy marriage of these two worlds… Your world, and the way you knew it when you left, and your new world, seasoned and forged by the adventure, transformed by the events you’ve endured. Like a graduation, a commencement into an adulthood, into maturity, where you graduate to become the teacher, and possibly… if you’re UP for the challenge… a White Rabbit. Where YOUR Being, your very nature becomes an invitation to others… to do exploring in the wilderness you just endured. Now is the time when you can be a teacher for someone who is exploring the path you just traveled. Another circle completes. On the other hand you may experience the collision of these 2 worlds… For the old world and your way of being may no longer fit, and you need to grieve the passing of the old world. It could be that your old world is challenged by your new way of being. Think of a man who grows up on land, becomes a sailor and goes to sea for a long time, having to get his “land legs” back. The very ground may feel alien under your feet. A popular way that worlds collide is in our generation gaps… the obvious differences between us and our parents… in our thinking, in our choices, in our values. You may find that when you return home, the people that were once so familiar, don’t recognize you easily. And you may have to give them a chance to get to know you, maybe even a chance to grieve the loss of your former self. Maybe you will have to do some grieving, to honor the process. It could be that this will be a struggle in itself, that there will be another Hero’s Journey for you in this process of returning home. But it is important to have this completion, this acknowledgment, this validation, this returning to Source, this centering, even if it comes only from you. That is the essence of the Return Home… the acknowledgement of growth and experience. This journey can be a very sacred process if we create that intention in our choices, as we make them. Knowing how these steps work can be helpful, and empowering for you. Something to remember is that every Hero’s Journey is not the same. You will have some that seem to repeat over and over, others that will be epic and lifelong. You may do the whole thing out of order in some cases. The possibilities are infinite. Gilda Radner said: “I always wanted a happy ending... Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity.” For now you can see how the 7 Sacred Choices of the Hero’s Journey are prevalent all over your life. How each day is a Hero’s Journey, an outing can be a Hero’s Journey, a job can be a Hero’s Journey, a relationship can be a Hero’s Journey, an identity can be a Hero’s Journey, a lifetime can be a Hero’s Journey. But one thing is for certain, once you, the Hero, return home, that’s when this cycle begins all over again. And the master will once again become the student. The next journey will be even more magnificent, more dangerous, more challenging, more healing, you will learn of new magic, and you will gain even more mastery in your journey. Each succeeding journey will lead you higher and higher in your state of being, like a great spiral reaching up toward heaven. Intertwining with other spirals, collectively growing our consciousness’. One last question I pose to you, My Hero, will YOU be a White Rabbit, for the journey of another? And WHEN (not if, when) you are invited…..will you say YES, to the journey of your lifetime. Thank you for joining me through this journey. Go in peace, Live long and prosper (thank you Star Trek!)
